Lumo Leap
Privacy policy
This policy explains how information is handled when Lumo Leap is used and when this website is visited.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Who is responsible?
Magnus Holmedal, operating through Exlo Studio, is the data controller for Lumo Leap. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
Information handled by the game
Account and identity
The game can create an anonymous account to support cloud features. If an account is later linked to Google, Apple or email sign-in, the associated account identifier, email address and display name may be processed.
Progress and game data
Cloud save data may include completed levels, stars, coins, collected or equipped cosmetics, timestamps and other progress needed to restore the game across devices. Daily challenge or leaderboard entries may include an account identifier, score, duration and attempt count.
Analytics and diagnostics
Sanitised gameplay events may include level identifiers, completion results, jump counts, collected items, session progress, app version and platform. Crash reports may include technical diagnostics and the state of the game when an error occurred. The event layer rejects fields intended to contain email addresses, passwords, authentication tokens, payment details or similar sensitive information.
Advertising and consent
If advertising is active in the released version, Google AdMob and configured advertising partners may process device and advertising identifiers, consent choices, general device information and ad interaction data. Where required, the game presents a consent form and a way to reopen privacy choices before personalised advertising is requested.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. Lumo Leap does not receive complete payment-card details. The game may receive a transaction identifier, product identifier and entitlement status needed to validate or restore a purchase.
Why information is used
- To provide gameplay, cloud saving, account access and restoration across devices.
- To operate leaderboards, daily challenges and other connected features.
- To validate purchases and remember purchased entitlements.
- To diagnose crashes, protect the service from abuse and improve game balance.
- To display advertising and honour privacy choices when advertising is enabled.
Service providers
Lumo Leap uses or is prepared to use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration and device attestation; Google AdMob for advertising and consent; and the App Store or Google Play for app distribution and purchases. These providers process information under their own policies and agreements.
Storage, security and retention
Connected game data is stored using Firebase services and protected by authenticated access rules, encrypted network connections and device-attestation controls where available. Account-linked cloud data is kept while the account is active or while needed to provide the requested feature. Data is removed from active systems when the account is deleted, except where limited retention is required by law, fraud prevention or the technical lifecycle of provider backups.
Account deletion and your rights
The released game provides an in-app path for deleting the account and associated cloud progress. A web-based request is also available on the account deletion page.
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. Consent can be withdrawn where processing is based on consent. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. Residents of Norway and the EEA may also contact Datatilsynet.
Age and audience
Lumo Leap is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not marketed as a child-directed service. If personal information from a child is discovered, contact Exlo Studio so it can be reviewed and removed where required.
